Above the Scottish town of Dunblane lies a section of the Atlantic Wall used for training exercises by the allies on the run up to D-Day.
There is much to learn about these walls and Dunblane Museum with their patron Prof. Tony Pollard set out to bring more attention to these ‘hidden gems’ in a collaborative project which kicked off during Spring 2014.

Today (June 6th 2019) marks the 75th anniversary of the Normandy landings. It seemed like a fitting time to promote this Heritage Lottery Funded project once more.
